A few days ago, we heard word that filming was ready to begin this week on the set of Yonge Street in Toronto for the upcoming installment of THE INCREDIBLE HULK. Superhero Hype has now provided some photos of some shots from last night's chaos from director Louis Leterrier. The majority of the events take place, storyline wise, in NYC and there can be no doubt that Hulk and Abomination will be facing off against each other outside the famous Harlem Apollo theater. The film stars Edward Norton(Bruce Banner), Liv Tyler(Betty Ross), Tim Roth(Emil Blonsky/Abomination), William Hurt(General Ross), Tim Blake Nelson(Samuel Sterns/The Leader), Christina Cabot and Lou Ferrigno.

Plot Summary: Living in the shadows--cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler)--Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.

As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK hits theaters everywhere June 13, 2008.

I still don't know about this... It's so soon after the last Hulk and I really don't see Norton as Banner. Also, I rather liked both Jennifer Connelly as Betty and Sam Elliot as General Ross... They definitely have an impressive cast assembled for this new iteration, and they seem intent on setting things right this time around, so I'm willing to give it a chance...

But I still am skeptical...

Ha! I get my hair cut right beside the Elephant and the Castle... Weird seeing Toronto's Yonge St and Gerrard St transformed into Harlem.

BAD HAIR CUT MAKE HULK MAD! HULK SMASH BUS

I don't think it's any secret to anyone who reads my posts..... I LOVE THE HULK, so i am biased.... and loved the first Hulk for the things it got right, because although few were right on a big scale (i.e. the desert battle, hulks powers with the exception of growing)... but found myself wishing for the scenes that didn't fit to go in another direction, or just give me more Hulk.... from the sounds of things that is what I am about to get..... I've said it before, any self respecting Hulk fan will pay the admission just to see Jade Jaws and Bomby throw down.... the pics guarantee my ass in a seat opening night.

Well,

My feeling on this is still the fact that this second Hulk movie can't be worst then the first one.

Now, of course the first one wasn't all that bad, it had strong potential and very good casting but over all, very disapointed. But, from the direction this 2nd movie appears to be taking, I can't wait to see this new Hulk. Still think the biggest mistake they are doing is casting Liv Tyler for Betty Ross but, she can surprise me so I will wait before I lash out more critisism.

Ed Norton looks ok, he's a good actor but, I guess I don't see him as being Bruce Banner. he might surprise me also...time will tell.

in any case, I will be in line to see this.

Its Showtime at the Apollo.....So, it starts out with Bruce Banner at Amatuear night at the theatre. His blend of interprative dance and essoteric humor gets him booed off stage. It makes him so angry that he turns into the Hulk and starts smashing things up. Of course being most of the people in the theatre are black, Hulk is charged with a hate crime and has to serve to consecutive life sentences at Rikers.

Sorry Whiskeymovie... if you paid anything at all to what's going on in America you'd know the Hulk would be sentenced to probation... however, if Luke Cage were to do the same crime he'd be chared with AND convicted with attempted 2nd degree murder... google or do a search on youtube for Jena 6 if you don't know what I'm talking about.

I get more and more pumped with every article i read about this movie. I am a hugh hulk fan, i loved the first movie. I think Edward Norton is a great actor and will do a awesome job as banner, i wonder if he will be "playing" the hulk like Lee did in the first movie. I'll be there opening night.

I saw that "Apollo" Theater set front in the pictures the other day. Does anyone in Harlem think that looks REMOTELY like the real Apollo Theater? Or Harlem for that matter?

If you Gamma Ray Ed Norton to be the Hulk the end result should be a Big with a small body.
