DC Direct continues their highly detailed and successful 13” Deluxe figures with an incredible Aquaman figure. Just like Batman, Superman, Lex Luthor and all of those before him, Aquaman is 1:6 scale, with multiple points of articulation, highly detailed, interchangeable hands and a removable cloth costume. Aquaman comes in his classic costume of green pants and gloves with the orange/gold scale-like top, yellow belt and black underwear on top of the green pants. Aquaman comes with a base, and a golden trident as tall as the hero. Although the costume comes off as flamboyant at first due to its shine, and brightness, it adds to the allure of the Aquaman character and will make anyone an Aqua-fan in no time.

It’s rare to have an action figure line where every figure in the series is “a must have,” but this line is easily making every character a must to own. Previous figures in this series either deliver more than expected or fell shorter than expected, but there has not been one figure yet that any collector or reviewer would pan. The Aquaman figure is just as awesome as the best figures in this series and it instantly makes you forget about the endless amount of Aquaman jokes you’ve heard throughout the years. This figure brings justice to the time-tested hero and earns his spot on the shelf with the other DC heroes. If there is one series you want to own, this series is worth the price and Aquaman should be in your top five choices of who to purchase first.

What an intelligent comment that was, dragon261?

Wow. This is about the briefest review of anything I've ever seen. Where are comments about the sculpt, paint, and articulation? And captaingordon, he also had only one hand and various hooks in the DC comics from '94 to about '02. (The hook was replaced by a mystical water-elemental-type hand after that.) If you think he's the worst hero ever, you need to read Peter David's run on _Aquaman_ from the mid to late 90's and Morrison's _JLA_ issues (from '96 to ~'00) -- he was used very well in those books.

dragon261...I know everyone has a right to post their comments, but your post was just plain stupid. Aquaman is a fantastic character when written correctly. I'm not a big fan of the character, and I don't collect action figure collectibles, but this looks like a great edition for collectors.

haha, i think aquaman was at his best in the separate thread in Entourage, then again i know nothing about him otherwise
