Just one year shy of his 40th birthday, Peter Parker ? a.k.a. the Amazing Spider-Man ? is still one of the most popular and recognizable comic book superheroes ever created. He?s also very human, weighed down by the knowledge that with great power comes great responsibility. He is the Everyman turned Superman. He?s our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and there?s never been a better time to get in on the web-slingin?, wall-crawlin? action.

Spider-Man recently faced the toughest challenge of his career as the fallout from the now infamous ?Clone Saga? and John Byrne?s abysmal CHAPTER ONE misfire buried fans in a morass of convoluted continuity and lousy storytelling.
