Let the speculation continue on whether the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger will make an appearance in the Terminator Salvation trilogy! For months, there's been a bit of back-and-forth on whether he's set to appear or not in this new trilogy of a franchise in which he helped build. The last rumors we had a few months ago indicated the possibility of an Arnold cameo as high but likely not in this first installment due out next year. Instead, the chances were there that he would cameo in the second or third installment.
Adding fuel to the fire is a caught-on-camera moment courtesy of Zimbio, where the governor is seen meeting with leading star Christian Bale. Of course, this meeting could have nothing to do with the Terminator series but the speculation will continue. You can see the meeting on the left.
The upcoming first of a planned trilogy stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood, Common, Jadagrace and Helena Bonham Carter. Director McG is behind the camera, based on a screenplay by John Brancato and Michael Ferris.
Plot Summary: In the highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.
They could have Arnold as a Scientist that helps create the Terminators, hence they look like him, UNTIL his wife gets frozen and he gets into uber gay mode (not that there is anything wrong with gay, just an expression) freezez the city and the franchise, and Bale (john conner) has to become future terminator batman to kick his ass back to his banrupt state of Cali!
WORD!
Here's what I have read elsewhere; Roland Kickinger,of FXs' Son of the Beach fame, was cast to play Ah-nulds'T-800 Terminator. This makes sense because he looks almost exactly like the Gov. There is also speculation that Roland did all of the physical acting and that McG is going to digitally impose or "face drop", as it's called in the Biz, Ah-nulds' face onto Rolands' body and then digitally insert some dialogue. To which I think sounds pretty ree-goddamn-diculous. But that's what's floatin' around out there.

ps.....never forget
I remember an extra clip on a DVD release of either T2 or T3 with Arnold as a soldier with a VO'ed southern accent. I figured the mold came from that dude.
Regardless, I hope they fit Arnold into it somehow. He is the FREAKIN TERMINATOR.
landlord: Hey buddy you got a dead cat in there or what?
Arnold: F*ck You *sshole.
Priceless.

Sounds like they are giving us a straight up war but there's always lil subplots so what? It will be freakin great. Im so siked for the new Trilogy and i hope they get Roland he's Arnold Ala T1. Just dub in Arnolds voice cause it doesn't work without that voice.
Phase the plasma rifle in the 40 wat range The UZI 9 MM !!!!!!!!!! now thats priceless.
If there is anything going on there, I'm guessing that, like in T3, they're just dubbing Ah-nuld's voice in for the scientist or T-800. More likely, though, since a T-800 would probably have minimal, if any, dialogue, I'm guessing that Arnie just dropped by the set because it is a Terminator movie and just wanted to check with Bale to see how it was hanging.
