McLaughlin, who wrote Aronofsky's upcoming Black Swan, also penned the screenplay for the pilot. AMC will be the network where it will air while Aronofsky is executive producing through his production company, Protozoa. Also serving as executive producers are Eric Watson, Aronofsky's partner in Protozoa, and Jed Weintrob.

Plot Concept: Story
revolves around a family that moves into an apartment building with paranormal activity.

The Fountain is one of my favorite movies of all time. I'll see anything this guy is involved with. I'm very curious to see where he goes from here.

Agreed goat. His film work is very impressive. Thoughtful stuff and not anything you'd expect on TV. Makes sense that it's AMC and not a major broadcast network. I look forward to checking this out.

Agree with both of you guys. The Fountain is one of MY favorites also, and PI & RFOD were amazing also. Looking forward to this show!

Seeing as Pi and The Fountain made me want to kill myself, I shan't be seeing this.

muchD I totally have to agree with you... I honestly thought that The Fountain was a POS/C and a complete waste of time.

I just got through watching Requiem the other day, and except for Jennifer Connoly going "ass to ass" with that giant dildo, it was just another total waste of time.

You would have to admit that at least the ass-to-ass with Connoly was very thought provoking, momitchell7, no?
If only Ang Lee had thought to go that direction in Hulk.
