Thought this was one of the better episodes so far. Enjoyed it on many levels including the tight sweater :)

This is the only show I watch where I can highly dislike it one minute, then switch to parts I like next. I am still on the fence. I will continue watching. I like Diggle's character. He is going to be Ollie's salvation from getting lost in revenge. He will probably die by the end of the season as well. Mark my words.

Just saw this episode on Hulu.  I actually liked it.  Would be interesting too see where they go with the character after being arrested (now that he is completely outed).  Also I don't believe this is a war against the rich (Occupy movement politically correct preachy stuff) but a war targetting specific individuals (his book).  Since I never read the Green Arrow comics I do not know the Black Conary history (shy of what I read on Wikipedia) so I am interested how they transform Laural into the meta-human Black-Conary.  I am still in the camp that Super Hero genre entertainment needs some kind of fantasy element (somebody showing up with super-powers) in order to work.  Without it, it is just some dude wearing leather killing people he has an issue with.

So Diggle is going to be a mash-up of Robin and Alfred?  I can go with that, for now.

You do know that we are supposed to hate Ollie's sister at the moment, right?  They appear to be setting up a redemption thread for on down the line.  Question is will the show last long enough for that to come to fruitiion, and how well can they pull it off?

The show has been pretty good.  I'm worried that they are adopting the "freak of the week" (to coin a Smallville phrase) that can get pretty monotonous pretty quickly.  At least we have the island flashbacks to change up the pace.  That, and I loved the scene that showed the Queen's Gambit (despite the sub-par CGI), and how that might affect things going forward.

I understand your lashing out at people who just want to see you get the HELP you so DESPRATELY NEED, Tim, I know it's not easy asking for help, but for all our sakes...PLEASE GET SOME.....

Doe's anyone know Roy Thomas's phone number? Maybe he can talk to ole OVER SENSITIVE, Tim about getting into a good Anger Management program.

After all, it's just a T.V. program and not really worth getting worked about, Tim.

(I guess you feel it is worth it, huh, Tim, I wonder what Mr Thomas would say about your behaviour)

I agree Milean, I don't like the freak of the week aspect of the show.  I hope eventually they move away from him hunting down the people on the list.

I do like the flashback aspect, I can't wait for Ollie to battle the Others.  But that was BS where he wouldn't kill the bird at first.  You starving and you can't kill the damn bird?  Yeah right, that would've been dead in a second if you really hungry.

I'm looking forward to seeing more DC characters pop up (Huntress, Deathstroke, Royal Flush Gang) in upcoming episodes.

Marvin...I only hope Deathstroke is done right and becomes a major, recurring villain and not disposable like Deadshot.
