already a number 1 drama this show is not going away!

it'll devolve into Starling City 90201 in no time... And filled with lot's of witty fast talking big boobed actresses and ruggedly handsome metro-sexual young men.
The CW makes shows for 12 -16 year old girls. They play to their chief demographic.
haven't watched this pilot yet but i did lose interest in smallville after a seaon or two ... too much emotional stuff and sub standard effects ... just to close the loop i got my hands on season 10 so will watch that sometime in the future lol
I thought it was really good (for a CW show). Will be interested where it goes from here. Could be awesome, could be crap. I'm looking forward to the next few episodes to see how it gets it's stride.
At least we have a comic book TV show...
"Starling" City instead of Star City. Dinah Lance with NO super powers.
Skipping this and still hoping it fails so that Warner Bros learns a lesson.
it was a cool episode the reviewer forgot to mention that speedy arrows sidekick was in the pilot as well.
LOL, Look , fella's, C.W. is revealing more D.C. Gay Character..........This show both Suck's and Blow's........I can hear the Suits at Marvel Studios Laughing their Ass's off!
It was okay, but I still like Hartley's version a bit better...so far. I've never really read the comics for Green Arrow, but I thought it was odd that he has a living mother and sister. I thought he was an only child and his parents are both dead, a la Batman. I could be totally wrong on this though.
And yes, that was Luthor Mansion as Queen Manor. And this first "villian" Arrow went after looked an awful lot like Lex coincidentally.
Oh and I don't think Arrow killed those thugs. I thought the bald dude said "That guy in the hood put several of my men in the hospital." or something to that effect.
I think a lot of you guys are off the mark comparing Arrow with Smallville...Let's compare the Green Arrow of Smallville with that of Arrow. Hartley's character never seemed remotely like the fiery Oliver Queen of the comics. As far as special effects goes...i don't recall there being much in the way of special effects in the pilot of Smallville but even if there was its a different show...one character has super powers os you need special effects...the other doesn't.
