Arrow has been fantastic from eepisode 1 and keeps getting better! The tension between Ollie and Slade and Slade playing it cool was superb. Looks like the stakes are going up and everybody from Oliver's team Huntress included..which is awesome!) to the Suicide Squad is gearing up for war against Slade. I can't wait to see how this all plays out in the end.

On a side note, now with a Flash spinoff getting underway, I hope to seee crossovers between both series and hopefully seeing a new Justice League forming. By the wy, since Bludhaven appeared in a previous episode, which could have been a simple nod to the fans..but still, .I wonder if there is any chance of Nightwing dropping in on Starling City. Arrow, Canary,Huntress, Nightwing, and Flash would certainly make a formidable team.

Well the week after next week's episode is called Birds of prey so hopefully we get more birds than just Black Canary and Huntress.

Completely agree that the excuse for Slade hating Oliver is completely lame, drug side effect or not.  Slade wasn't in a relationship with Shado, Oliver was.  And to get pissed because he "chose" Girlfriend #1 over Girlfriend #2 is ridiculous writing.  Could have/should have come uip with a much better reason for hating Oliver.  Hell, if they make Sara into a one-time lesbian (for no other reason than to get fanboys all hot and bothered), then you can come up with a more believeable background story for their conflict.  How about the guy being a merc and selling out to get off the island, causing Oliver to fight and take out his eye?  He's a bad guy, after all.

Also, would it be possible for Caity Lotz to actually come up with believable emoting for once?  She is an actress, after all.  She just cannot seem to pull off scenes that call for her to display emotion; think I watching a tree, she's so wooden.  I love Steve Armell's portrayal of Green Arrow and hope DC is wise enough to stick him into their movies.  But I think the show has struck out with 4 of their 5 female leads.  Already ripped Katie Cassidy previously.  Every time I listen to Susanna Thompson I  expect a villanous cackle to come out of her (and for God's sake, the writers couldn't come up with anything more believable than running for Mayor shortly after being tried for mass murder, acquittal or not?).  And Willa Holland is too annoying (although I'll concede getting less so this season).  Emily Rickards is awesome.

i have a terrible feeling something bad might happen to Felicity and she might become this Universe's Oracle, forming Bird of Prey in the process...

Although from what I have seen it also looks like they are setting up Huntress as a VILLAIN.

I loved the episode. I've got no problem with why Slade hates Oliver. He was completely unbalanced because of the drug then Oliver shot his eye out. Could they have come up with something better? Yeah, probably, but I'll roll with it.

I still say Stephen Amell is a great actor. He portrayed so much just with his eyes and facial expressions when confronted by Slade. Great stuff. That was a great scene.

Loved when Slade saw he was surrounded. A plus from me.

I think they are setting Huntress up as a villian in the beginning for some girl on girl (fighting) action, but will switch by the end.  Come on, of course they are gonna fight, Ollie has snagged both of them.  Actually except for his Mom and Sister, he tapped every female on that show.  Really putting up the numbers!

Thankfully they dialed down all the teen-soap opera crap the show has had lately. Amost dropped the show after last week.

Great episode and I agree on the silliness of his hatred and also the camera planting. But I allow stuff like that to go by because the show is just good clean un-embarassed comic book fun. The situations and troubles the characters go through are serious for them but the style of the show still says this is like a kid reading comics  on a lazy Saturday afternoon kind of thing. It has an overall feeling of good clean alittle over-the-top fun that I enjoy. It's not deadly serious as the Dark Knight movies. It doesn't have to cross every T and dot every I.

Great episode...the show just gets better and better! The tension because of the standoff in the mansion was definitely one of the highlights. You could actually feel it when Slade realized there were more players than just Oliver. I don't think he was expecting to see Sara there!

The preview for the next episode (and from that YouTube trailer) looks KILLER. That shot of Deathstroke standing on the roof and looking ready to kick ass nearly made me piss myself!

my only beef is Caity cant act worth a damn.  Still, everything really clicks on this show.
