Arterton Confirmed as BOND 22 Girl

Actress Gemma Arterton has been confirmed as a JAMES BOND 22 girl, reports Empire Online. There's no word yet on how big a role she will play in the next 007 adventure or even if she's the main "Bond girl" in the film. Also, if you don't mind knowing some spoilers, Daniel Craig is currently rehearsing for a scene that will be alongside henchman Anatole Taubman. Plot Summary: The 22nd James Bond adventure will begin two minutes after Casino Royale ended. The film, distributed by Columbia & MGM, features Daniel Craig reprising the role of the legendary British secret agent.

JAMES BOND 22 will hit theaters November 7, 2008.

I can not wait for Bond 22..... Casino Royale was such a good movie....I really like that they had Martin Campell do Casino Royale.....after he did Golden Eye.....but I really love Marc Forster as a director, so I am very excited for this. Show me a trailer.

Casino Royale was by far the biggest crapfest I've ever sat through. Daniel Craig is SO NOT Bond by any stretch of the imagination. I wouldn't even watch this on cable, unless I'm paralyzed and there isn't anyone around to change the channel. They should stop trying to change the Bond image and just make up there own secret agent and stop pretending anyone besides Connery or Brosnan can play Bond.

Wow, that girl is cute, pretty hot, not supa hot, but very very cute. She makes for a good "nice girl". She will be a good counter part to what ever "Bad Girl" they get. She has a very pretty smile, yah, smile..... And Trollman, Craig is the best Bond since Connery. Brosnan was an embarrassment to everything Bond, IMHO. Even Golden Eye would have ben better if Craig was in it instead of Brosnan. Brosnan was so cheesy. Craig is a hard ass like Connery.

Cute girl. I thought Craig was an amazing Bond, and Casino Royale breathed fresh life into what had become a cliched, albeit entertaining, franchise. I like that Bond was more the weapon than all of the fancy gadgets once supplied by "Q." All Bond should need is his wits, physical skills and his sidearm to get the job done. I'm looking forward to the next movie.

I think she's a huge improvement over Eva Green when it comes to looks. And by the way I wouldn't call that a plot summary.

That is the main reason that Connery stopped even wanting to be Bond. Too much BS, too many gadgets, too many lame ass one liners. Craig is a hard ass like Connery. Craig is the new Bond in the old school style.

Saw her photos on imdb.com http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2605345/ She looks like a chubby Jennifer Garner. Let's face it, Bond women are rarely anything more than something to look at, except in the last film. I hope they do more of that new approach. I fear they'll return to the old formula.

What's with all these super plain looking Bond girls? First Eva Green, now this chick. I mean she's cute and all but there is nothing exotic about her. Bond girls almost always had that "exotic flavor" to them. Now, they just look like any random cute/pretty girl you'd see at the mall. I've said it before, I'll say it again; too much real life is not a good thing.

Well, actually, alot of people find Eva Green to be damn hot. I am one of them. She is gorgeous. She`s hotter than the last bond girl, Halle Berry, but that`s just my opinion. Gemma is okay, but she`s not Bond girl material to me. Most Bond girls have that femme fatale look. Gemma doesn`t really have that. Eva Green definitely has it. Even in the Kingdom of Heaven, she had it.
