Ashmore returns to SMALLVILLE

While shooting his next film, THE UNDERCLASSMAN, in Vancouver, X-MEN actor Shawn Ashmore told The Vancouver Sun that he will be reprising his SMALLVILLE character in an upcoming third season episode. "Asylum", scheduled to air November 26, sees the return of three superpowered villains Clark Kent faced over the course of the past two seasons, one being Ashmore's Eric Summers (last seen in "Leech".) Jonathan Taylor Thomas, from the episode "Dichotic", is one of the two other returning Freaks of the Week; the third character/actor still remains unknown.

"Asylum" will see the three familiar foes stuck inside a mental asylum, trying to break free and confront the person responsible for their incarceration, Clark Kent.
