STAR WARS EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES has been set for home video release, and the magic day is November 12.
What'll come is the already hinted two disc special edition DVD, selling for $29.98, with a VHS copy coming in at $24.98. Prices for the Beta videotape, eight-track, shadow-puppet and cave painting versions of the film haven't been announced as yet.
"We set the bar pretty high with the EPISODE I DVD, and we want to carry the momentum that we've built with this second DVD release, which marks the first time that a live-action feature shot digitally will be transferred to the digital medium," crowed Lucasfilm vice president of marketing Jim Ward told the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. "With the compression and authoring that it has undergone, the film looks amazing on DVD."
