Inside Buzz:

MGM sued New Line to strip GOLDMEMBER from the film's title because it made fun of the former studio's James Bond flick GOLDFINGER. However, a few weeks later an agreement was reached allowing New Line to use the title if a trailer for the new Bond film DIE ANOTHER DAY was attached to the July release of MEMBER. Here's the point of interest: New Line has been touting MEMBER as the last of the POWERS films, but the agreement made with MGM calls for the studio to approve future titles that parody Bond films. Why would MGM agree if there were no more POWERS films coming? Does that mean AUSTIN POWERS: LIVE AND LET SHAG will be on the way in 2005?

Release Date:

July 26
