Violator: Thanks for the pass. It was very magnanimous of you.

Sure, it was an obvious call, but at least they had the good sense not to make the announcement before the movie was even released. Warner Bros. announced their intent to do a Green Lantern sequel the week before it crashed and burned at the box office.
So now the question is... can they get everyone back for another... weren't most of the contracts for 6 films? Downey I believe would be somewhere around that or maybe that would be his sixth?
gambit, actually Coulson does exist in the Marvel Universe.... now. Marvel brought him and the black Nick Fury (Nick Fury Jr., Fury's hidden son) into the main universe in the recent mini-series Battle Scars.
I have a name of a great Avengers supervillian that I'd like to see in the next movie...ULTRON!!!
SPOILER ALERT
Just a thought, but when I saw thanos at the end of the movie (and it was thanos who gave Loki the staff) it got me thinking: maybe that glowing thing on the end of the staff was an infinity gem. Possibly the mind gem since it had mind con.trol abilities. Anyone have a similiar thought?
Damn, toran just beat me to it. I went to see it again tonight, and that's precisely what occured to me. Not only does the scepter appear to be powered by an Infinity Gem, but Thor didn't take the scepter back to Asgard with him. Just Loki and the Cosmic Cube. The blue Infinity Gem is the Mind gem, which corresponds to how it was used in the film. Considering the gem's original owner, I suspect he's going to want it back.
The only thing wyldstar, is that the gem should be small enough to fit into a gauntlet. But perhaps the gems can change size or maybe the is just an outer casing for it. Anyway I think the infinity gem is the way to go for a sequel.
Well, the staff was certainly the base of Loki's powers so yes it could have very well been the soul gem. Joss and the writers really did dig deep into the universe's history. Heck, if you're gonna do a crossover then you might as well go all out! Where is Adam Warlock when you need him? What about the rights to Silver Surfer? Thanos will be a serious force to reckon with!
Violator: that was HILARIOUS. Thank you.
