Avengers EMH was almost Marvels version of Justice League Unlimited. It was really good and was set up perfectly, and they planted the show firmly in marvel lore. Hope the new one is the same. Would suck if it was just the movie cast.
Don't understand the Ultimate Spider-Man hate. Yeah it has a more kid friendly bent but the premise is really cool. The heroes in traing with Spider-Man in shield I dig it, plus they have guest stars all the time, thor, wolverine, etc. I've watched every spider-man animated series since the 90's version, spectacular, the mtv version, now this. I'm glad they have taken a different approach.
Marvel may be winning the war as far as live action movies go, but D.C. has dominated the cartoons( thanks to Bruce Timm).Just when it looked like Marvel was making some headway with E.M.H. they go and cancel it. I liked EMH because it was closer to the comics and I'm afraid that making a new cartoon more like the live action movie is going in the wrong direction.
Did anyone here watch/like Thor/Loki: Blood Brothers or Iron Man: extermis...motion comics......those are really u starting to grow on me...thought the Watchmen one was horrible only cause of the voice overs
@zipahead- sort of like DC's live-action Batman is doing by taking away the whole fantasy aspect? *wink*
This looks like Marvel is trying to promote the movieverse through their animation. If A:EMH sucked I would be all for this but it was a great series on it's own and Iron Man was freaking awesome in that. Anyway , the new series better good after this dumb move.
"Comic mainstay Falcon"...?
Has Marvel changed the character in the last decade when I wasn't looking because when I was reading their comics Falcon was only ever a throw in character when they wanted a bit of diversity in the cast but couldn't be bothered to either create a new and actually interesting character, when they couldn't figure out how to get one of the more interesting ones to mesh or when they wanted someone bland who could be in the background and not get in the way of whatever the writter had planned before a change was forced on them by management.
Honestly, Falcon is at best boring as a rip off Vulture who has twisted Aquaman's powers and can talk to birds (can he still do that or was that finally written out as being even too dumb for a throw away character?). He was a poor man's John Stewart on his best days and rarely contributed anything to a given title that Redbird couldn't if it could talk to the other heroes.
LOL vitieddie, touche my friend.
