Great googly moogly. I'm so happy I could almost kiss Violater...or at least dream about it. :)
So here we sit with just hours to go and Marvel has release their “What the Critics Say” Avengers Trailer. The reviews have been good. Our own Rob Vaux gave it A- and we all know how tough he is (see review). So after this weekend, what is the next film to get hyped about? It is a long summer until The Dark Knight Rises arrives. Or is there something else until then to hold you over?

Are there other releases to hold us over until TDKR? Of course there are. Hello, there's also Prometheus and The Amazing Spiderman!!
Of course. And Prometheus and Amazing Spidey will probably be better than TDKR as well!

Side note: Marvel Comics just recently brought this Nick Fury and Agent Coulson into their mainstream universe. In the mini-series Battle Scars he's former Army Ranger Marcus Jones, thrown into a nasty super-spy adventure and discovers that his father is former SHIELD head Nick Fury (who kept away to protect him and his mother). After losing his eye and saving the day Marcus and his best friend, fellow Ranger Coulson, joins SHIELD and finds his birth name is actually Nick Jr As the more familiar Nick Sr is apparently moving deeper into the shadows and retiring (the drug that's kept him alive and relatively young all these years having been completely removed from his system) Nick Jr will be taking the spotlight

Yeah, now that the Avengers is out it seems like a ridiculously long until TDKR. But Prometheus, Spider-Man and Brave should tide me over just fine. Last summer, other than Thor and Cap there really wasn't anything so this is a great summer to me.
