I'm actually looking forward to Promethius and Snow White. Charlize Theron is in both movies and is hot.
She looks like she will be a great evil witch (in Snow White) and will blow Julia Roberts version out of trhe water.
I'm hoping since Avengers is doing so well that we will eventually get a real Galactus story with a real Galactus, not a cloud of energy. Especially with the character who shows up in the credits. If there is ever a Infinity Gauntlet story you can't have it without Galactus.

DC is the kiddy ride and Marvel is the adult ride. Always been and always will be that way. The current story for Batman is a joke as well... 8 years since the whole Joker fiasco? WTF? Nice way to end the mini-series...by giving Batsy a cane to walk out with!

As for TDKR, which sounds more ridiculous everytime I type it, don't count on that many kids being there... In other words, best of luck trying to beat out the Avengers. Every theatre in my area (North Atlanta) is already sold out thru Saturday...luckily I already have my tickets.

Wow! Well, it's always been a fact that you can't please everyone, no matter how good these trailers are and no matter how much these movies make once released there'll still be someone around saying "eh, they weren't that great.", but it's incredible how we moved from dislike to pure trollishness here.
Darthnotbob, where did you get this whole "Mysterion" thing? And what movie exactly are you looking at as "been there/done that"? Catwoman a Trinity wannabe? Seriously? She was doing her thing before the guy who made the Matrix was even born.
Gothic, the only place where Bane was a lackey was in that God-awful Shumaker movie. Read the comicbook, where TDKRs Bane comes from, MUCH more intelligent and one of Batmans chief enemies. No, he's not a powerhouse like Loki or Darkseid, no more than Batman is a powerhouse like Thor or Superman. And judging by the success of the past two Batman movies I wouldn't be at all surprised if #3 did just as well, and just as well as the Avengers too.
If you're trying to be funny and sarcastic then you need to remember that sarcasm really doesn't translate well in print (i.e. here). But if your views are serious then you really do need to take another look at Dark Knight and Bane.
Well I'm back from seeing the Avengers and all I can say is Make Mine Marvel. Hulk Smashed "Puny God" Iron Man was a beast. Captian American was pure sweetness. Thor called Lightning Black widow had her sting, Hawkeye was a Bad ass and did I mention that this movie was all I hoped it would be and then some... And wait for it the After the credits scene Oh my fricking god... People go see this film and enjoy.

Loki was an excellent villian. Manipulative and evil ... you know a comic villian
The Hulk was well defined with the transformation. Much more in line with the comic.
Fury is the anti-hero who has an agenda but is loyal to his purpose which is to protect the world.
Hawkey and Black Widow aren't neccessarily well fleshed out, but what they do give in background is more than enough to understand their motivation and to endear them to the audience.
Avengers is a movie that will appeal to children and adults. It's bright and fun with excellent character interaction and developement.
The Dark Knight is set in a different mold, Nolan has created a dark world with a broken character...you know Batman. It doesn't make it any better or any worse than the Avengers, it is just a different tone.
I look forward to Dark Knight, I look forward to Spiderman, and I look forward to seeing The Avengers again.
