Looks really nice, something to go a be on the edge of you're seat. This must be seen on the theaters, I learned that watching horror movies on the tv doesn't have the same scare as in the theater.

I don't think I'll ever understand why anyone would want to subject themselves to horror movies.  At least the ones that are actually scary.  To me it's like saying "I hope I have the worst nightmares tonight!"  I always wake up afterward, but it's not at all an enjoyable experience.  Oh well.  This looks like something people who enjoy that shit will like.

@Sanity - oh, my brother... you are deprived. A good horror film is a wonderful experience. adrenaline rush followed by a taste of reality. Who can argue what an enjoyable experience The 6th Sense, The Ring, Insidious, Sinister, The Shining, Signs, and Silence of the Lambs were for most of us? Nightmares? Meh... I don't suffer from any anxieties, paranoia, or phobias, and I'm rarely stressed, so it's not an issue. I guess it would be for those who had issues with these things. Fairly simple equation if you ask me. If you're a timid person don't watch horror. If not, enjoy!

Calamity -'s kind of funny to hear anyone say I might be timid.  That's a first.  I guess I get my adrenaline rushes in different, more real life ways.  I tend to use movies and books to get things I can't in real life.  I see plenty of horrible people and situations every I just don't see why anyone would want MORE of that.  And I don't really see The Shining, Sings or Silence of the Lambs as horror.  More like suspense.  It's that psychological horror stuff that isn't interesting.  I've never seen The 6th Sense because multiple people spoiled the ending for me and I didn't see any point.  Anyway, I know it's popular but I'll never understand why people like it.

Looks like it may be ok but very similar to that Boogeyman film and the one with the tooth fairy. May check it out.

Whoa Sanity I get that we have different tastes but your reasoning seems a bit off. This here is something you can't get in real life. And if the horrors of real life you don't want to see in your movies then I guess you don't watch any violent films and stick solely to fantasy and sci/fi?

@CalmityJohnson "I don't suffer from any anxieties, paranoia, or phobias, and I'm rarely stressed". Please tell me what vitamins you take! I want that life! LOL, but seriously what vitamins?

Horror films aren't my thing too much. Here and there one will catch my eye, this one looks creepy but didn't hit the spot to catch at the theatres. Hope others enjoy it tho.

Wise...yeah that psychological type horror isn't something you can get in real life - except for in nightmares...which I don't hope for.  I've only had 2 or 3 in the last 20 years and I'm pretty sure the last was one where I couldn't stop my baby daughter from falling to her death.  My point was that it's strange to me that anyone would want to experience that horror in movies because they aren't able to in real life.  You want to be terrified in real life?  Weird.  And no...violence doesn't bother me.  Tho I don't do those torture porn Saw type movies.  Not because they're scary...just stupid.  Actually...sci-fi and fantasy tend to be some of the most violent.

Thinking about all of this...maybe it's the control freak part of me that doesn't like this sub-genra.  That completely out of your control nothing you can do about it shit.  In real life I'd just grab a flashlight and my Glock/shotgun and put an end to any creepy f*** who was terrorizing my family in the dark.

Wiseguy 1/23/2014 7:32:42 AM

LOL okay.

In the end I think it's that escapism even if this one in particular isn't your cup of tea. But that experience, rush and jolts from the safety of a theater seat.

I definitely got chills watching this trailer... May be the one scary film I see this year.
