FUNimation is on another licensing run as they've announced several new titles this afternoon at Katsucon with plans to announce more later in the week on their site blog. Today, they announced the acquisition of Bamboo Blade, Blassreiter, Dragonaut - The Resonance and The Tower of Druaga: the Aegis of Uruk, The Tower of Druaga: the Sword of Uruk. Two of the titles are noteworthy as they were officially streamed and subtitled shows from Gonzo that went up on several services last year and there was curiosity as to whether they'd warrant a physical media release and dub since they were available legally in that format. It's unknown at this time whether FUNimation will have streaming rights for Blassreiter and Druaga because of this. All shows are set for release in late 2009.
