Bandai Entertainment has sent out their official solicitation information this evening on what to expect in September and Blu-ray fans get a bit of love once more as the Escaflowne movie gets a high definition release. Hayate the Combat Butler and Freedom continue their release as well but we also get word of a few delays:
True Tears [Anime Legends]
Street Date Revision:
Old: 07/21/2009
New: 08/18/2009
Code Geass R2 Part 1
Street Date Revision:
Old: 08/04/2009
New: 08/18/2009
Code Geass R2 Part 1 LE
Street Date Revision:
Old: 08/04/2009
New: 08/18/2009
Ghost Slayers Ayashi Part 3
Street Date Revision:
Old: 08/04/2009
New: 09/01/2009
Does anyone want to count how many times Ghost Slayers Ayashi has been delayed overall? Are there any buyers for it anymore after all of this?
I am so sick of these constant delays from Bandai. Code Geass R2 has been delayed like every few weeks lately. How ****ing hard is it to stick to a date? If you don't know when you're going to ship it, then don't announced a date until you do. Constantly pushing it back like that just pisses off your fans even more.
