This film will make money on the cute factor alone.

Just a week after DreamWorks confirmed their official slate to 2013, some more information on the Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots has appeared online.
While in a sit down interview with Banderas on his upcoming heist thriller The Code, Edward Douglas, via ComingSoon.net, has received confirmation from the star this spin-off will focus on the deadly-yet-cute feline's origins. It will follow the circumstances of what turned Puss into the character you see in the Shrek franchise.
"I'm very happy with what I'm doing. In a way, it's easy work because I know the parameters of the character. I know how to move him around. At the same time, a couple days ago, I went to DreamWorks and they pitched me what is going to be Puss in Boots' own movie, and it looks unbelievable."

So is this going to be in 3D too? Not that I'm all that interested anyway, I think they've squeezed enough out of this franchise already.
What I want to see is a Gingerbread Man film! Anyone that can take losing a leg and a gumdrop button is badass in my book.
That's cool. I liked Puss in the Shrek movies.
