Sorry I missed this one Maniacs. It appears that Warner Bros. Animation has released the opening title sequence for Cartoon Network's upcoming Beware the Batman. The new series premieres July 13th, 2013. This time Bruce Wayne/ Batman will be portrayed by Anthony Ruiviar.

The first episode is titled “Hunted” and has Batman going up against Professor Pyg (voiced by Brian George). Alfred (JB Blanc) hires a bodyguard for Bruce Wayne: a Japanese warrior named Katana (Sumalee Montano).

Hmm.... interesting... my first view. Will everything be that dark? Or is it just the intro style. I will always give a Batman series a look.

Interesting, but just bring back a Justice League cartoon.

Marvel offers up 7 live action movies between 2013 and 2014.  What does DC serve up?  A crappy MOShite movie and more cartoons!

I wish they would bring back the Green Lantern Cartoon. This show looks like fail to me,

Dazzler 7/11/2013 5:54:49 AM

Searching my app to record it now....

No... No, and then perhaps... no.

I want my Bruce Timm back, and young Justice.

@ DarthBob - Frist off you are in the minority opinion that MOS was crappy. Second stop making Marvel out tobe the begin all end all. Iron Man II sucked on second viewing and both Thor and Captain American were little more than setups for the Avengers movies not great movies by any means. Marvel hit a home run with Iron Man and the Avengers, they missed with two Hulk movies.

DarthBob 7/11/2013 9:03:34 AM

@cinemaman72 Iron Man 2 sucked? OK, so let's stack up MOShite vs. Iron Man 2 which you say sucks:

- IM2: RT = 73%, RT Audience = 80%, box office = $623,933,331

- MOShite: RT = 56%, RT Audience = 78%, box office = $589,530,420 (as of 9 Jul)

So the movie that you claim sucks outperforms MOShite in every way; MOS can't even beat a movie that you claim sucks! Looks like you are the one in the minority. Marvel isn't perfect, but at least they're trying and giving fans more than Nolan's "dark and gritty" BS.

You call $1.3 billion misses? (Both Hulks plus CA and Thor) That's a good one! Not great movies, but entertaining and still better than crappy cartoons and Smallville.

Marvel took a virtually unknown superhero outside of comic book fans (Iron Man) and cashed in for $2.4 billion total. Superman has been around since the 1930s and has a huge brand recognition advantage over Iron Man and MOShite can't even beat IM2 (which you claim sucks) at the box office. Heck, MOShite isn't even going to beat The Amazing Spiderman which did $752 million.

MOShite made some money which in turn CBM fans will get more “dark and gritty” nolanesque BS CBMs. CBM are supposed to be fun and MOShite was neither fun nor good.

So enjoy your cartoons and TV show on a no name network DC fans cuz that's all you get for the foreseeable future! Also, the journey towards a JL train wreck will be 100 times better than any actual movie!

We need more Justice League, Bruce Timm style.  We need Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, and Co.

Or at least some more Young Justice.  This looks like ass by comparison.

Warner Bros.... I hate you.

God this looks bad. The Bat mobile looks like Speed Racer's Mach 5. Still do not understand why they cancelled Green Lantern and Young Justice, those shows were great.
