Banned Comic Con SAW IV Clip

Comic Con 2007 San Diego banned Lionsgate from airing a certain clip of SAW IV at their event earlier this summer due to its graphic nature. That same clip has made its way online for everyone to check out. The footage does give a clue on just how the "game" will begin after what took place in the climax of the last installment and the central character of Jigsaw. As previous reports have indicated, interviews over the summer from actor Tobin Bell have revealed that he gets as much screentime in the next film as he has in the last 3 installments. The fourth film in the franchise by Lionsgate & Twisted Pictures has Darren Lynn Bousman and stars Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, Betsy Russell, Costas Mandylor and Lyriq Bent.

Plot Summary:  Upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive at the depleted police precinct and help veteran Detective Hoffman sift through Jigsaw's latest grizzly game of victims and piece together the puzzle. However, when SWAT Commander Rigg, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw, is suddenly abducted and thrust into the madman's harrowing game, the officer has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of interconnected traps...or face the deadly consequences.

SAW IV hits theaters October 26, 2007.

Big thanks to Maniac Scooper, Peteo, for passing this along to us..

People talk about Halloween being bad! Look at this WHOLE series! The Saw movies make me ashamed to be a horror fan.

I'm proud to say I still havent seen SAW 1,2, or 3.. not a fan of sadistic brutality, sorry, with that said, I've seen enough Autopsies portrayed in horror movies that this scene did look cool, the victim was dead already (lets hope) so its probably not what got this trailer banned by ComicCon.. it was probably the big "WHAT THE F**K" letters in the middle of the trailer, I've seen stuff like this before in Re-Animator... Autopsies are nothing new for me.

.. oh, and if you're parents... be smart and dont take your youngsters to this crap just because its cheaper than getting a babysitter...ok?

Or be a parent and tell them its just a movie and that it is fake and cant hurt you. And it is ok to enjoy this as long as you dont do what you see because it is fake and having people chop people up is wrong and someone can get hurt?

Is that ok , or do kids have to locked away until they are 17 and magically an adult.

Sooo, you are saying it is okay to bring a KID to see this film? And as long as you tell them, "Hey that person getting raped and chopped up, that is all fake. Don't worry, its just a movie!" Then it is okay!?

Quick question: Do you have kids, and if you do would you take them to see this?

I disagee SONYMAN, The subject matter portrayed in the SAW flicks is quite inappropriate for children. Depending on what age groups we are talking about here. I would not take my 5 year old nephew see any of this. If the kid was in his teens? I guess that would depend on their maturity level at their age.

I took my sister who was 9 months pregnatnt to see SAW 3, her unborn baby watched through her vagina, actually he bootlegged the film, best way to smuggle a camera in, he did a hell of a job too!

I was not expecting that to be the way the two movies are bridged, as the WTF text came up that was pretty much the thought going through my head lol

This is definitely not for kids. Younger Teens, depending on how mature they are maybe. My little sister and brother can both handle that without being scarred for life and without going out and trying to do what they just saw (Hehe I said Saw!).
