Gave up not have up...
Thanks for the feedback guys. I agree that sometimes it can be a tough sell b/c you have to keep track a really large amount of characters and I know it frustrates the hell out of me sometimes. I usually watch each episode at least 4 times to make sure that I have the right players and locations, etc. I always tell people w/ OnDemand to binge the first two seasons and they will become hooked. As we have all said, the closest comparison would be THE SOPRANOS. Obviously that was not based on a book so I respect the hell out you all that have been able to read of all of the tomes. I have up b/c it felt like work and not enjoyable reading for me personally. Hopefully the second half will be as terrific as the first 5.

Just a quick question but how big are the dragons supposed to get according to the books?

I originally had given the episode a solid "B" but then I watched it two more times and had to give it a bump into the "A" realm. IMO it was a great "setup" episode for things to come. Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated...
Hey Ray T,
Doing my best on the grammar. Usually the editors take care of that kind of stuff b/c frankly writers have to knock out the copy ASAP and just give it a once over. I am reading Strunk's "The Elements of Style" and trying to improve as most freelancers just get their copy in and hope that the copy editor takes care of any snafu's. Anyway, I am appreciative for the heads up and I will try to do better. Outside of the punctuation I hope that you liked the overall review of the show. This is easily the toughest show that I review b/c of the massive amount of characters, names and locations. Plus we barely get paid at Mania as the site is only staying afloat as a favor from Demand Media (their parent company). Right now I am mostly writing for denofgeek.us and we could certainly use some commenters like yourself so check it out if you get a chance. Thanks again for reading.

That is a really good point that I did not even fathom when writing the review. They have definitely made it a point to show Deb taking the pills quite a bit, drinking water, etc. I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility b/c when Hannah said "I wouldn't have made a mistake (if I poisoned Deb)," I kind of bought it b/c Deb has really been acting weird since disclosing her true feelings to Dexter. Then again I totally thought Hannah and Deb were gonna make out when Hannah went to visit her unannounced! There was a definite pause in yheir interaction and a beat where I was like, "Whoa, something is about to happen between these two." LaGuerta is just too damn smart and you would have thought that we would have seen her play a mile out but I totally bought in and it added a wow factor when I put the pieces together in my head that it was her that got Estrada out of prison just to lure Dexter in the open. Reminiscent of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS a little bit in the way they played that. Should be a great finale later this week and I am way more into this season as a fan and critic of he show...
Thanks for the heads up! Yes I am completely aware that Quinn (and the show) is complete fiction...I understand how characters in reviews can sound like real people after an extended tenure on a hit show; I just feel the Quinn character has worn out his welcome. It reminds me of people talking to Stallone like he is really ROCKY BALBOA! I did not give Quinn much ink this week b/c his storyline is just getting tiresome in my opinion and taking away from the big picture. I absolutely agree that Angel is the shows most likable character and it is a good point about Hannah possibly being the arsonist. She is one hot mess of trouble...

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. Both good and bad I appreciate you taking the time out...
