BATMAN BEGINS Premiere

Date: Thursday, June 23, 2005

Once again it's been one premiere and event after another...so since I haven't been around much to get this all out to all your Cinescapers, I promised myself that I was going to catch up before the next batch of premieres start. Monday is WAR OF THE WORLDS here in Hollywood.

Okay, so you haven't seen BATMAN BEGINS yet...what is stopping you...go see it! Christian Bale (Batman) is wonderful in the role. And Sir Michael Caine as Alfred was perfect casting.

The premiere for Warner Bros. BATMAN BEGINS was recently held at the Grauman's Chinese in Hollywood and the stars came out. Seen on the red carpet were the stars of the movie: Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Michael Caine (Alfred), Liam Neeson (Ducard), Katie Holmes (Rachel Dawes) who came with Tom Cruise, Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), Emma Lockhart (Rachel Dawes age 8), Christopher Nolan (Director) and composers Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard.

Joining the stars were guests: Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance, Amber Tamblyn, Annabeth Gish, Derek Luke, Ryan Reynolds, Dave Navarro, Michelle Trachtenberg, Gabriel Mann, Maggie Grace and many others.

BATMAN BEGINS is rated PG-13 for intense action violence, disturbing images and some thematic elements. BATMAN BEGINS opened in theaters June 15th. Checkout www.batmanbegins.com

So I guess this settles it Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise can go to a premiere without making international news. If anyone sees these two anywhere stop, go buy a watergun, and spray them down till they're dripping. I'll gladly pick up the tab for the watergun, but will not pay the bills if this humorless ass sues you.

Don't they usually hold a "premier" BEFORE it opens to general release?
