Peter Weller's voice as Batman/Wayne added a very commanding and dark tone. A perfect blend of age, maturity, and acting experience. Andrea Romano really knows how to cast and direct voices. Weller is doing part 2 as well.

I too was pleased with Peter's voice as Batman.  I was also very happy the way the movie followed and looked like the book.  Very entertaining and I can NOT wait for part 2!

This was easily the best animated film made by DC or Marvel to date.  Excellent.  At the end of part one I was pissed because I have to wait for part 2.

This movie kept me at the edge of my sit the whole time!  The two fighting sequenses were simply amazing!

Can't wait for part 2 to come out.

I haven't heard if Frank Miller has commented on the film.  He can be irritable but I would think he'd have to believe that they did as good a job as you could hope for...

I'm not watching this until part 2 come's out, lol!

This might be the best animated movie I've ever seen, and that's because it is so well done and faithful to the comic book series.  The voices were great and the music was excellent!  I loved Peter Weller as Bruce/Batman, part 2 should be even better!!

I loved everything but the girl (no pun intended) I just think they never really stablished her as a character, as a person who looked up to Batman? sure but there was no explanation about her training or her skills or her backround, she just donned a Robin suit and went about kicking a lot of ass, with no real explanation.

two things...wasn't that Joker tease just creepy as hell?  And can't wait to see how they handle Superman and Green Arrow in part two

Yes, the Joker tease was creepy.  I am sooo looking forward to part 2.  The darkness and adult theme is so overdue.
