Batman Solo Film in 2019?

Latino Review Reports

Latino Review is reporting another “Hot Rumor” that Warner Brothers is eyeing up 2019 to give Batman is own film.

From Latino Review:According to sources, I'm hearing the studio is eyeing 2019 for the standalone Batman film and I even got a working title: THE BATMAN.”

Outside of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck does have a period gangster piece in the works called Live by Night. Which arrives in October, 2016. After that film he will have a window to start a new Batman movie.

There will probably be more news on this in July at Comic Con. We still don’t even have DC Comics/ Warner Brothers official release schedule for their superhero properties.

I’m interested in seeing how “normal” moviegoers react to a Non Christopher Nolan Batman.

I think the title is brilliant. Who will direct? Ben Affleck? Better be a detective story with some cool martial arts. That is all

2019, LoL.  Don't want to rush anything here.

 With Ben Affleck? Noooooo...Noooooooooo

kinetoscope 6/19/2014 3:32:23 PM

That's to far away. Ben will be like 50 by then...

Tevii 6/19/2014 3:34:38 PM

 Kinetoscope - he'll be 46...Hugh Jackman is 45 now...

Tevii 6/19/2014 3:36:16 PM

But actually they never claimed he's starring in it. He's directing for sure. Thats was part of the negotiation to get him to be Batman now. For all we know The Batman will take place before he meets Superman and tyhey go with yet another, younger  actor.

Yeah, i think it'll have a wraparound with Affleck and maybe Cavill discussing his past, but the main story will be a younger Batman in an adaptation of one of the big comic arcs, The Long Halloween, perhaps...

That way you could introduce his whole rogue's gallery but only have one real antagonist,

Maybe as an older seasoned batman as they're calling him in the new Superman film, it could be a Batman Beyond flick?
