I always love it when someone who doesn't like a tv show or movie wishes it to fail, so that others who enjoy them can lose out. Bet if it the exact same movies were done by James Cameron, hanso would be all over them. If you don't like something, don't watch it. Leave it to the fans. Personally I'm looking forward to this and the REAL "Avatar" next month.  Just my 2 cents.

Good article, but just to clarify the "Club Eternia" guarentees members get the main figure that is available each month.  For example last month when Trap Jaw was released, members didn't have to log on to the site to order him.  The release day allows anyone to try...and I stress try...to order each figure but some sell out in hours and minutes like Trap Jaw did.   The Wun-dar figure that is released next month is only available to those who signed up for the membership, he won't be sold on matty's site (only scalped on ebay).

Just curious, I've read all the comments posted here and I can't figure out how people who haven't even seen the movie can rip on it.

For those who saw it and didn't like it, that's your opinion same as mine's mine.  But it doesn't make it a bad movie, it just makes it a movie you didn't like.  I'll reserve judgment for when your version of G.I.Joe comes out...

I liked the movie, was it the exactly the same as the original cartoon? No.  Was it the exactly the same as the comics? No.  If I wanted carbon copies I'd go back to the originals.  I enjoyed the fact that it was something new that felt like something from my childhood.  Watch the new Resolute, and thought that was great as well.  Who wants to see the same thing over and over and over.  I think as long as it has the same "feel" as the source material it doesn't need to be a word for word copy.

And I look forward to the eventual sequel, which I'm sure many already "know" will suck.

Movielord, I agree that the Prison Suit would be 1000 times better.  And I agree that it isn't all that different, but I was just trying to get across the point that it's not the same figure as the Entertainment Earth figure, so the statement that "it isn't that exclusive" is incorrect.  As a columnist he should just make sure that any statements made should be accurate.

"Oh, by the way Toys R Us, it isn’t really that exclusive when you can buy it on Entertainment Earth"

I think as a columnist, if you're going to make a sarcastic comment, you might want to do your research.  The Toys R Us version has a beat-up paint scheme on the face and comes with the Walter Kovacs prison nameplate, the Entertaiment Earth is just the regular unmasked version. Your Welcome.

Hey Chad, new member, but I've been reading mania since it was cinescape and I have a question that I haven't been able to figure out on my own (doesn't happen very often...lol). I know most aren't fans of the variant covers, but I find some of them have better artwork, so I do purchase them every so often. My question is, I've seen the "Secret Variant" cover to Invincible Iron Man #10 and I've seen the regular variant as well. They appear to be exactly the same except for a number change in the barcode, the regular "Tony Stark" cover and the regular "Iron Man" variant have 01011 over the right barcode, whereas the "Secret Variant" has a 01013, is this the only difference? Wasn't sure if I was missing something like that Wolverine Origins Variant that had the "Loeb" hidden text on the tunnel wall. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
