....
Just a month or so after some Tweeter revealed that Christopher Nolan would be introducing a new Bat vehicle into the final installment of his trilogy, the new ride has been spotted this week in the streets of Pittsburgh. And like the previous set action spotted by fans, some videos have made their way online of the "Bat-Wing" in action. Check out the videos below courtesy of SHH contributors.
The Dark Knight Rises flies into theaters July 20, 2012.
Wow, that is very cool looking. The Bat Plane is awesome. This movie is going to own, I do not care what the haters say. The first one owned and the second one too. There is no reason that the third one will not be bad ass too.
Nolan's situation with this movie is also nothing like Spiderman 3. Raimi had to deal with the dick's over at Sony telling him what to do and what not to do. Why do you all think he quit making the Spiderman movies? Because the Sony execs are dicks.
I have a feeling nolan has been given plenty of breathing room to do what he wants with the 3rd film. I dont think Sony has anything to do with the batman movies this go around. And at any rate Who wants to be the one to tell nolan You cant do that you have to do this instead- and pray that he doesnt leave lol I sure as hell wouldent want that job.
The Batplane looks good so far and of course more will be added in CGI But thats to be expected at any rate . It will only make things look even better.
I dunno , the plane has the same aesthetics as the batmobile. Not that the car wasn't cool but since it was designed by engineers for military applications, why would it look like the plane? I liked the idea that Nolan was moving away from the universal bat gadget look of the Shumacher movies in favor of what appeared to be more practical, realistic looking gear. I would have liked a more streamlined aerodynamic look (ya know, like the plane from the unaired Wonder Woman pilot ;-) Oh well, at least it doesn't have giant bat wings with neon lights along the edges. It doesn't matter, there is no reason to expect that the Dark Knight Rises won't be an awesome movie.
Wise if thats what your dumps look like.... mate, ouch is all I say. I think it looks like the top half of the tumbler, wouldv'e liked to see some proper batstuff in this one. But hey ho I'll takes what I can get.
Nolan's done great so far. This plane looks pretty interesting. I wonder if that is the entire plane or if more will be added CGI.
