Battle Angel Not Returning

A few days ago, the AnimeNation blog reported that ADV Films was intending to repress and put the Battle Angel DVD release back out into the marketplace in the coming weeks. That blog entry has since been updated - and we've received confirmation from Chris Oarr of ADV Films, that there is no planned re-release or repackaging of the previous release in the works. Apparently a "Small quantity of origina lpressing Battle Angel DVDs will be solicited to select retailers."
