Battle Angel to Return

With James Cameron apparently no longer interested in the Battle Angel CG movie he's talked about for a few years, ADV Films is now able to release it on DVD again, which will surely have auction prices plummeting. The Animenation blog is reporting that the title will be back into retailer hands relatively soon, which gives indication that it will be a repressing of the earlier disc which was done back in 2000 around the time that ADV Films entered the anime DVD market. The suggested price for it will be $19.99 for the two episode OVA release.

Wait...what? He's not doing this now? I missed it. What happened?

The whole world stopped. James Cameron isnt interested in Battle Angel anymore. Instead he's focusing his efforts on an Arnie-less and Jamie-Lee-Curtis-Less, Charlton Heston-less True Lies 2 with Tom Arnold reprising his role as Albert Gibson and revealing that he is, in fact, crossdressing secret double agent lawyer Juno Skinner representing Mr. and Mrs Smith's nasty divorce settlement.

Because he needs the work, Bill Paxton is returning also.
should be cool.
