The fourth disc in this series brings about a new story arc and of course more silliness that the other 2 was lacking a bit, this is a good sign indeed. Joy joy!
On the first episode of this disc, Akari is now on her way to the University Satellite and along the way we are introduced to Kris Christopher, the weirdest girl I've seen for a while and Anna, the shy and quite little girl. During the course of the journey, a bunch of terrorist hijacks the ship they are on, and soon making weird demands. Of course nothing goes according to plan and soon the ship is heading on a collision course to the University.
The next episode, Akari has finally made it to the University and soon discovers that her assign roommates are none other than Anna and Kris. Twist of fate? I doubt it. Not only that they have been assign one of the best instructors this University has to offer, MISTER MIRACLE!!! However, Mr. Miracle isn't too impress with them, and soon they have to prove their worth by going thru a little test. Much as expected, they failed it, but Mr. Miracle decided to go ahead and train them himself. A man of mystery indeed.
And on the final episode, the preliminaries have begun and all the teams are facing each other in a grueling test of teamwork and skill. Course much could be said about Akari's team as they lost 10 times in a row already. Try as she might to desperately win one game, it ended up in failure soon after.
A good change of pace this discs gives from the other 2 emotionally charged disc, I like how things are presented here. With the introduction of these new characters, everything should be lot more interesting from this point on during the story.
Video constantly good as the previous disc, so there's no complaints here.
Audio is much like the same.
Extras. Nothing again. How disappointing.
The dub is OK, but there are a couple of qualms I have. First is when Akari blurted out Anna's name when she first appears. This lead me to wonder how can Akari know Anna's name even though she never did introduced herself. Second is a missing line in the dub. It occurs during the scene where Akari watches the sun rise, there was suppose to be a line which the principal says, but of course looks like the editors forgot to put the line in there. The close caption subtitles proves that there was a line missing.
Overall this is disc is real good. Must have more!!
