BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: to be or not to be, that is the question

Today's Hollywood Reporter confirms the story we ran this past weekend, that the contracts for the actors from Sci Fi Channel's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA mini-series were picked up. Curiously, Reporter said that the options for the "top cast members" were picked up, leading us to wonder if all of the supporting cast members' options were also grabbed. We know for sure that Petty Officer Tyrol and Captain Le "Apollo" Adama will be a part of the new series thanks to the postings of actor Aaron Douglas and Jamie Bamber on GALACTICA message forums.
Reporter's sources also matched up with the news we told you about first, that at least six episodes of the GALACTICA series have been ordered. Production is likely to start in April for a possible late 2004 broadcast.
