With his latest film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen set to break records this weekend in its theatrical debut, Variety is reporting that director Michael Bay may have a new sci-fi film lined up over at DreamWorks. The trade says the studio is firming up a deal to preemptively acquire screen rights to I Am Number Four, the first of a six-book science fiction deal that has Bay aboard to produce and possibly direct.

Sources close to the deal say DreamWorks is working on a high six-figure agreement for the rights.

The deal puts Bay right back in business with DreamWorks, Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider. It is expected that Spielberg will be active in a behind-the-scenes capacity, similar to the godfather role he has played in the Transformers franchise.

Plot Concept: The franchise is about a group of nine earthbound alien teens who escaped their planet just before it was destroyed by a hostile species. While the high school-aged kids assimilate, the title character discovers that he is being hunted by the enemy that blew up his planet.

Bay could just about pull off anything now......he is hands down the best action director of our new age......transformers 2 is the epitimy of what a popcorn summer movie is.......so if he's behind the camera and steven by his side it will be a hit regardless of who the star is......

Off the success of the Autobot tiwns, Michael Bay is extremely excited this might be his next project.  Not only can he feature every single high school cliche and stereotype known to man but he's planning on adding some ethnic humor as well.

His 9 high school alien cast will feature: a white guy, black guy, latino, jew, asian, indian, european.  The last two will be a woman and a homo.

Bay promises hilarity will ensue.

The Twins were like every wigger that grew up in a rich white town,,,,,,they were awesome,,,,,,plus, they looked like retarded Asian twins, but I thought they were funny as hell,,,,Saw T2 twice yesterday, and both times it was awesome,,,,,fuck the critics,,,,,,they dont know what the hell they are talking about,,,was the story stupid? Hell yes.....was the movie awesome? Hell yes......a movie based on giant robots doesn't need a good story.....it needs good action, which is what we got

therockdltj....Nolan=Memento, TDK, Batman Begins, and the Prestige= Great story teller

Bay=Armagedon,Pearl Harbor, the island, bad boys 2, TFand TF2= Only no's how to blow shit up and has no clue how to tell a story, Bay is the Rob Liefeld of the movie world, flashy style no substance.

if you think Bays a better film maker than Nolan then your Opinion of films doesnt  ever matter, your obviously  either A) a tool....B)a 13 year old boy or C) Micheal Bay.

There's a reason why some one like speilberg is producer of this garbage and not director, cause he even no's he could never direct a movie that has no charicter development and relies on explosions and swearing robots.

I just finished watching Watchmen at it's Frak'n briliant, but I'm sure you wont like it after all it makes you think.

Oh and Hanso Frak'n Hilarious.
