By Rob M. Worley     August 04, 2002

Superstar ArnoldSchwarzenegger made a surprise appearance at Saturday's Warner Bros.presentation at Comic-Con International. The actor was on hand to present clipsfor the currently-in-production Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

During thesubsequent Q & A Arnold commented on a couple of his pulp novel propertiesthat are of interest to comic book movie fans. When asked about work on KingConan: Crown of Iron the actor had very little new news to divulge."The project is set up at Warner Bros right now. The script is complete byJohn Milius. It's now up to Warner if they want to do the movie but I'm lookingforward to it because I thing it's a great franchise and it's a great characterto play."

The actor wasalso asked what is happening with Doc Savage. "Beatsme," Schwarzenegger replied. "I really don't know. I mean FrankDarabont wrote a fantastic script for Doc Savage."

However, thestudio estimated that the script would cost $220 million to produce. "Ithink that for right they're shy about making this kind of movie because itcosts that much money. So maybe some day they will do this movie."
