Beach, Hedge pics kick sand on 'Superman' bow

The opening of "Superman Returns" was no match for a local beach laffer starring three bathers with superpowers in Argentina last weekend.The man of steel was given a pasting by "Baneros III, todopoderosos" (Bathers III, Superpowers), which took in 1.88 million pesos ($609,000) from Thursday to Sunday, according to provisional Nielsen EDI Argentina figures released Monday."Superman Returns" took in $431,000 and came in third at the box office behind fellow opener "Over the Hedge" ($503,000).More...
