Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox - Trailer Debut

Badass!

By Robert T. Trate     May 24, 2013
Source: IGN

IGN has posted the debut trailer for Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Though having never read the comic, this DC Universe film looks incredible.

Synopsis: When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for Flash and his family, the event’s temporal ripples prove disastrous, creating a fractured, alternate reality where the Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Amidst a new world being ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman’s Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans, Flash must team with a grittier, more violent Batman and government agent Cyborg to restore the continuity of Flash’s original timeline.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is a PG-13 rated film and arrives July 30, 2013 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP), DVD ($19.98 SRP) and Digital Download. The Blu-ray™ Combo Pack will include UltraViolet™.

Hopefully, this will correct DC's recent extremely poor showing recently: Supermand: Unbound, All-Star Superman, Batman: Year One, and canceling Young Justice. Before this horrendous momemtum shift I thought they could do no wrong. Here's to hoping they right the ship!

CANT WAIT FOR THIS ONE! I LOVED the miniseries. It just had so many fun possibilities. i hope they get to show elements of the spin off miniseries in this.

but after the boring Superman Unbound, Im sure this will seem like a masterpiece anyway.

Now we need:

- Throne of Atlantis
- Rise and Fall  (For the ReAL story of Roy harper, not the g-rated version from young Justice, even though it was a cool adaptation)

- New 52 JLA

- Still want the Sinestro Corps War even though thats canned, too bad.

- Court of Owls

- Batman: the Cult (even though Arrow season 2 will be drawing from it)

Why aren't Warner Bros. making live action movies like this?

Wow, I was expecting something lame and I was just blown away.  This looks really awesome!

Blackest Night would be damn fun.

Kingdom Come would kick ass as well.

I'm thinking both will never be done since the animators don't want to do such huge ensemble casts, and both stories pretty much utlized the entire DC universe.

Looks amazing.  This will be a much needed dose of quality after the last few duds.  I've been meaning to listen to the audio commentary of All-Star Superman just so I can find out WTF they were thinking when they made that piece of gosa.

@calamity - Blackest night was supposed to be season 2 of Green Lantern the animated series... SO SHITTY it got cancelled.

Kingdom Come would be amazing

Wyldstar - Im not sure why so many people praise the All star Superman graphic novel either. so overrated. But I pretty much hate all of grant morrisons crap. ESPECIALLy the Return of Bruce Wayne. WORST COMIC SERIES IVE EVER READ

Huh... I wasn't blown away buy this, I will have to watch a few more times. Everyone else seems to love it.

I would love to see Kingdom Come. I really enjoyed the graphic audio.
