Metro Goldwyn Mayer recently held the Worldwide Premiere for BEAUTY SHOP at the Mann National Theater in Westwood, California.

Gina Norris (Queen Latifah) is a long way from the Barbershop. After moving from Chicago to Atlanta so her gifted daughter can attend a prestigious music school, she opens a posh salon with her cutting-edge hairstyle.

Since there were so many photographers space was made outside on the red carpet and inside the theater where I landed up. So seen walking into the theatre to attend the premiere were the stars of the movie: Queen Latifah, Miss Laura Hayes, Bryce Wilson, Joyful Drake, Djimon Hounsou, Kevin Bacon, Sherri Shepherd, Andie MacDowell, Alfre Woodard, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Mena Suvari, Paige Hurd, Lil JJ, Lisa Raye, Alicia Silverstone and director Bille Woodruff.

Joining the stars were guests: Kimberly J. Brown, Garcel Beauvalis-Nilon, Jane Seymour and family, Renee Wilson, Sara Rue, Keith David, Brad Rowe, Kyra Sedgwick, Victor Webster, Henry Simmons, Clifton Powell and many others.
