Has there ever been an idea that Alan Moore doesn't hate, reek?
I'm not even sure that he likes his own stuff at this point.
I'm going to see alan moore doing a talk in a couple of weeks. Cant wait.
It's bullshit that Alan Moore doesn't like ideas. The guy has just been so f*cked over by DC over the years that he's understandably bitter. Kurt Amacker, who used to write Comicscape here, recently interviewed Moore at length about Before Watchmen, the antics of DC, and his thoughts on modern comics. I don't agree with his derisive attitude towards mainstream Marvel and DC comics, but that's a matter of taste really, and I can see why he's so jaded. And Before Watchmen is a shameless cash-in, nothing more.
Everything is more or less a cash-in now days ....
Alan Moore is one of the best though ... I keep seeing his work on the shelves ... DC Universe By Alan Moore etc ...
To me comics are ONGOING. They should never stop. It's a monthly read. I don't get why AM does not understand that. And if it's a money issue get an Atty.
To bad Alan Moore aint invoved with this.
