The official website for STAR WARS has announced two books that will examine the making of the final film in the STAR WARS saga's prequel trilogy, EPISODE III.
THE ART OF STAR WARS: EPISODE III and STAR WARS: THE MAKING OF EPISODE III, both written by J. W. Rinzler, will be published by Del Rey Books next year. In ART, the production's concept and development art are compiled along with George Lucas' original screenplay. Readers will be able to examine the costumes, creatures, characters, technology and storyboard for the film in greater detail. The book will be a hardcover release.
THE MAKING OF EPISODE III looks at the making of the film from a chronological standpoint, from the earliest days of pre-production right up to its post-production work. THE MAKING will be available in both hardcover and softcover versions.
Both EPISODE III books will be released on the same date, on April 2, 2005.
