Being Human: The End of the World as We Know It

And the show feels fine.

This isn’t a series that we’d call lighthearted but it’s not as dark as a show about a vampire, werewolf, and ghost could be: until this week. This episode revealed a lot about two of the characters and showed the true beat of another. Aiden is a big cry naby a lot of the time and this week he gets faced with that by another vampire. This Priest vampire, who at one point claims Jesus could have been a vamp asks Aiden why he thinks he can’t share death with humans when a stake to the heart right there and then could have helped him. It’s a valid question many of us scream at the TV when he starts navel gazing. Major story reveals about our ghost and werewolf came out where reveals didn’t feel imminent. Those sorts of twists are the best kind. This episode of Being Human is the best of the first group and hopefully it bodes well for the rest of the season.

This is another one of the UK shows that I never started watching, that has recently been developed for US tv (the other being Shameless) and I am loving both series!!  The same cannot be said for some of the other recent attempts, but this show is fun and I love the cast.

I really enjoy the BBC series so when I watch this I can't get too excited. So far it is an above average show and I will check to see where it deviates from the original which hasppens to be a really awesome show.

I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this US version.  I caught in by flipping channels and found myself watching the last 40 minutes.
