You read my mind, Chopsaki....

Sam Worthingon has two new co-stars joining his police thriller Man on a Ledge, reports Variety. Weeks after Sam was nabbed for the lead role, a part he will need to shoot sometime before or between Clash of the Titans 2 and Avatar 2, the trade says that Jamie Bell and Anthony Mackie are also joining the Summit Entertainment production. Asger Leth (Ghosts of Cité Soleil) is directing from a script by Pablo Fenjves and the Hoeber brothers. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian and David Ready are producing.
Plot Concept: The story involves a former NYPD officer, played by Worthington, who threatens to jump to his death, and a female psychologist.
Are you gonna tell me that people are gonna pay money to see a movie about a guy who threatens to walk off a ledge? That's it ? At least with Phone Booth, you had some decent actors to look at. What the hell is up with hollywood these days ?
the sequel could be about a former NYPD officer on his way home from work and he stopps off at the grocery store and it's really busy and there a lot of people in the check out. They could call it THE LINE. They could cast Betty WQhite as the old lady that wants to but a can of cat food and she only has pennys and she insists on counting out every single penny. Cast Scarlet Johanssen as a mom with a couple kids that want all the candy and sodas in the check out lane. he has to pay for her groceries with all the $1 bills she got as an exotic dancer because her dead beat ex husband wont pay child support.
A whole cast of characters that begrudgingly get to know each other as they wait in THE LINE.
Oh They could follow that cop futher. When he gets home his neighbor starts in on him to cut his grass cause it's getting too long. Call this one THE LAWN. So he has to get the mower out of the shed and check the oil and fill the tank but his gas can is empty so he has to go get more gas. then it wont start. he doesn't notice the spark plug got un plugged so he cusses and pulls that cord but the mower just wont start. he finally get the spark plug hooked up and starts mowing the grass. it symbolizes the struggles and trials of his life contrasted by the repetition and tedium of pushing the mower in circles as he mows THE LAWN.
I SWEAR I'LL JUMP! I DON'T WANNA BE A 15 FOOT TALL CARTOON OR A GUY IN A DOUCHIE SEQUEL TO A GREEK MYTH!
The first thing that came to mind after reading the plot is all the Worthington detractors who will be rooting for him to jump off the ledge lol.
