Ben seen hanging around SHADOW MEN

Ben Affleck has attached himself to a friend's movie project, giving it a big boost and helping it sell to a major Hollywood movie studio. SHADOW MEN is the title of the project set up at Walt Disney Pictures, a sort of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE crossed with MEN IN BLACK that's about a group that has, as Hollywood Reporter describes, "extraordinary gifts" that go on secret missions.

The idea began as a pitch by Soren Garcia Rey, Affleck's friend, and another fellow by the name of Chris Angulo. Walt Disney liked it (and the idea of Affleck interested in playing one of the gifted members of the group) and bought the idea from Rey and Angulo. The studio now has Peter and David Griffiths onboard to write the screenplay.
