Bendis has more to say on MTV's SPIDER-MAN

Brian Michael Bendis is setting the record straight about how his involvement with the upcoming CGI animated SPIDER-MAN show on MTV.

While talking directly about how the media (and, admittedly, sometimes this news reporter) have pegged him as the power behind the new incarnation of SPIDER-MAN on the small screen, Bendis said he was simply the show's "SPIDER-MAN expert."

" I keep hearing 'my show' and it's not my show and that's not fair to the people whose show it is," he added. "I'm not show-runner. I'm not even head-writer but it's a job where I have a say... I'm just there to make sure it keeps feeling like a SPIDER-MAN show... I am writing for the show, but I'm not writing as many as I initially had planned."
