Anonymous scooper claims, "The producer/showrunner of the upcoming comic based TV series 'Global Frequency' has apparently been battling with WB Network executives for weeks in an attempt to get Amber Benson cast as Kate. The WB allegedly refuses. Why? Apparently it's because Amber played a lesbian on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.'"
