even the golden age sandman would be good!

I agree TAS look was inspired by Burton's Batman. I always loved the look and feel of the Burton Batman films.

But Keaton as Batman was just meh. Didn't like villain killing and the ghoulish raw fish eating Penguin was pretty lame.

The animated series just took Burton's vision and made it better.

No doubt TAS definitely took Burton's vision and improved on it. But a large part of that is that you can a lot with animation that you can't with live/action.

TAS to me is the definitive Batman series, dark, gritty and fully embracing of the entire DC and Batman universe and mythos. Nothing had to be sacrificed for TAS

And yeah I defend Burton's Batman but I'm always referring to the 1st. The second film was a definite step down. Burton went a bit overboard with too many aspects. Catwoman was the only good part I think

Wise is a truth teller in regards to Saturday mornings. For the first time in a long time there is actually something cool on. Thundercats then the DC Nation. Young Justice is just kick ass IMO. Quickly becoming one of my favourite animated DC projects next of course to Batman TAS and Justice League/Unlimited.
