Archie ComicsEntertainment has hired Allan Grafman as president. Grafman's aim will be toshepherd Archie Comics characters into other media according to theHollywood Reporter.
Grafman told TheReporter that the company will be looking at all areas of media foropportunities, including TV, film, video, video games, music, live events andlicensing.
"Thesebrands have not been fully exploited," Grafman said. "We want tofollow the model of companies like Disney, Nickelodeon and Saban."
To date, thelong-running TV series Sabrina The Teenage Witch remains the mostsuccessful Archie Comics adaptation. The comics also spawned a big screen moviein Josie and the Pussycats.
