Playing in 2,707 cinemas across the country,Blade 2 averaged $12,228 a theater, and attracted male and female audiences equally.There's already been plenty of buzz about Blade 3 which isexpected to go into production rapidly.
Trailing thevampire slayer was Ice Age, in its second week, thawing outanother $31.1 million in ticket sales. Coming in at #3 was the enhancedre-release of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. The loveable alienphoned in a $15.1 million performance.
