In a reportdetailing the recent career moves of producer Ed McDonnell, Varietyreveals that McDonnell is a producer on the Catwoman movie. AshleyJudd is set to star in the film, which spins out of the Batmanmovie franchise and loosely adapts the comic book character. John Rogers (Mage)wrote the script.
McDonnell isstarting his own production company under the name Maple Shade Films. He waspreviously president of Di Novi Pictures where he produced Original Sinand A Walk To Remember and began the Catwomanproject.
McDonnell willhave offices on the Warner Bros. lot, where he has a three-year exclusivefirst-look deal.
