Marvel Comics' Bill Jemas says he's going to write NYX - the mature readers X-MEN title which Brian Wood was originally working on - although if it's ever published is a different matter.
"I've written a lot of plots since I've been here and I've thrown a lot creative hand grenades since I've been here," Jemas says. "But I've never actually gone full script.
"I'm going to write the thing, and whether it gets published or not -- and I'll pass a lie detector on this -- depends on whether Joe (Quesada, Marvel's editor-in-chief) likes it. So I'm going to write it, and you'll know if it's good or not whether it ever sees the light of day."
Jemas says NYX is something he had "whirling around in this brain of mine" since before he came to Marvel.
"I think it's going to be fun to write," he said. "Whether it is fun to read remains to be seen."
Jemas says he will begin writing NYX after he completes work on the Recharge game rules, which should be later this month.
