BoxOffice Mojo reports that Men In Black II did its expected bigticket sales on Wednesday. The sequel took in an estimated $19.01 million makingit the third biggest Wednesday of all time. It trails The Phantom Menaceand Jurassic Park III.
The movie's takeexceeded that of it's predecessor, Men In Black, which bagged $14million on it's opening Wednesday, adding to $4.8 million collected at midnightshowings the night before). Mojo estimates that the sequel will also topthe original's $51.1 million take for the long weekend and will likely hitaround $95 million by the end of the weekend.
